History

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen is the fastest growing airport in Europe

It was established in partnership with Limak Holding, one of Turkey’s leading holdings, GMR Infrastructure, one of India’s leading infrastructure groups, and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, which has been operating airports since 1991.

On May 1, 2008, it took over the operating rights of the existing terminals at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, as well as the parking management, ground handling services, cargo, aircraft refueling operations, and the airport hotel and CIP facilities for 20 years.
