Ramp services are a fundamental part of ground handling services. Many services provided during the time between the arrival and departure of an aircraft are collectively known as “ramp” services.
Ramp services provided at our airport include:
- Meeting and guiding the aircraft into the parking into bay
- Quick and careful loading/unloading and delivery to terminal building of passenger baggage
- Cleaning of aircraft interior, disposal of wastewater and water replenishment
- Obtaining loading equipment
- Enabling the aircraft to change position using suitable equipment,
- Obtaining generator, air conditioning, air starter, and push-back vehicles
- De-icing and ice prevention services
- Maintaining loading equipment including pallets and containers
- Transportation of passengers and crew between the aircraft and the terminal building
