Air Arabia Egypt launched Alexandria flights from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen

The first and the biggest low cost carrier of Middle East and North Africa U.A.E’s airline company Air Arabia with its third company; Air Arabia Egypt launched flights to Alexandria Borg El Arab Airport from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen with 162 seat capacity, Airbus A320. Air Arabia Egypt is flying to Alexandria on Friday and Sundays, two times a week.

easyJet, carried over its 1 millionth passenger from Istanbul

In regards to passenger numbers, Europe’s 4th and UK’s largest airline company easyjet awarded its 1 millionth passenger to travel from Sabiha Gökçen Airport with 2 roundtrip flight tickets.
Establishing its operations in Turkey in 2006 firstly from Sabiha Gökcen with Basel flights, easyjet send off its 1 millionth passenger from Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen. Currently operating 182 aircraft on 500 routes, to 117 airports in 28 countries easyJet flew its 1 millionth passenger to travel from Istanbul to London on 22 June 2011.
On behalf of easyjet, Sabiha Gökcen CEO Gökhan Buğday presented her award to the 1 millionth passenger; 2 roundtrip flight tickets.

Miles&Smiles members flying with Anadolujet and Turkish Airlines from Sabiha Gökçen Airport get free access to the new domestic CIP Lounge until September 15th, 2011. If you are not a Miles&Smiles member, you may apply to the stands at the CIP lounge to enjoy the privileges.
The new domestic CIP lounge put into service April 2011 is located inside the General Aviation Terminal where our guests flying with Turkish Airlines and AnadoluJet can check-in 20 minutes before their flights and enjoy free internet, newspaper, catering service and more for a fee of 25 TL.
