Incoming Cargo Services
- Receiving and evaluating the FFM message sent by the departure point of the aircraft
- Meeting the aircraft at its parking bay and taking delivery of the documentation pertaining to the cargo
- Inspecting incoming cargo and cargo documentation
- Commencing customs procedures upon determination of cargo which is damaged or missing
- Delivering incoming cargo to the depot
- Sending messages regarding problems
- Presenting customs with the documents for incoming cargo
Contains 3 indoor import warehouses of 5500 square meters including 9 Cold Storage depots, secure sections for valuable cargo, special sections for restricted substances and protected areas for hazardous items. The import warehouses are equipped with a shelving system, computer aided stocking and placement system with barcode reader systems.
Outgoing Cargo Services
- Preparation of all documentation pertaining to cargo which is to be exported
- Presenting exit customs with the relevant documentation
- Completion of postal procedures (AV7) at the PTT
- Preparation and loading of cargo on to pallets depending on type of aircraft
- Loading cargo in compliance with the Special Cargo and Hazardous Substances regulations
- Conveying transit and transfer cargo to carrier aircraft and taking delivery of incoming transit and transfer cargo.
