Foreign Currency
Travellers can take along with them upto USD 5000 or its equivalent out of Turkey. Foreign citizens and Turkish citizens working abroad can take along with them upto USD 5000 or its equivalent out of Turkey; provided, having declared the amount of foreign currency, on entry to Turkey in the first place. Turkish citizens living in Turkey, can take along with them upto USD 5000 or its equivalent out of Turkey, upon evidencing currency transactions, by bank sales receipts (Law on the Protection of the Value of Turkish Currency).
There are no restrictions on the bank transfer of Turkish and/or foreign currency out of Turkey.
Jewellery
Travellers can bring or take along with them personal jewellery of precious metals and gems nature, with a value not exceeding USD 15,000. Jewellery with a value exceeding USD 15,000 needs to be declared on entry or on evidencing by transaction receipts.
